Working with hand-pulled cotton-linter paper she made herself, Annette Perone Leiber layered translucent sheets, flecks of organic pulp, and wisps of natural fiber to form a soft spiral of whites, sea-foam greens, and warm straw tones. The rough deckled edges and torn fragments create a cloud-like texture, while slender fibers suggest rays of light curling around the cocoon’s center.

This one-of-a-kind mixed-media collage is signed and floats inside a slim silver frame with a crisp mat, ready to bring airy serenity and tactile interest to any modern space.
