A Lifetime of Artistic Discovery
An award-winning American artist and educator, Annette Perone Leiber transforms the hidden beauty of nature into captivating visual art. Her lifelong exploration of form and light inspires viewers to see the world anew.
A lifelong artist with a love for light, color, and community. I’ve spent decades exploring realism through still lifes and florals, and just as long sharing that passion—mentoring young artists, curating exhibits, and celebrating the creative spirit in all of us.
Paintings
Expressive Works on Canvas – Florals, Landscapes & Beyond
A collection of expressive, elegant works that blend realism with emotional resonance. These carefully crafted pieces capture the textures of flowers, landscapes, and still life with remarkable depth and softness. Using oils, acrylics, and mixed mediums, each painting showcases a thoughtful use of color, movement, and light—offering quiet moments that speak to beauty, memory, and imagination.
Sculptures
Mixed Media Sculpture – Contemporary Abstract Assemblage
Standing upright with a dynamic presence, this sculptural artwork breaks traditional 2D boundaries—blurring the line between painting and construction. Each side features unique painted panels, framed within a handcrafted wooden structure painted in graduated purples and blues. The composition invites viewers to walk around it, offering new visual moments from every angle.
Works on Paper
Textured & Experimental Works – Scratchboard, Collage & Photo-Based Art
A diverse exploration of paper-based mediums, these works reveal the artist’s curiosity for texture, contrast, and fine detail. From the precision of scratchboard to the layered depth of collage, each piece offers its own visual language. Photography, painted paper, and wood-on-burlap elements expand the category further—blending traditional technique with experimental craftsmanship. Together, these works present intimate, highly tactile compositions that highlight the artist’s inventive spirit.
