"Engulfed in the Unknown" is a richly textured abstract collage that evokes the mystery of a cityscape seen through a dreamlike lens. With layered fibers, cheesecloth, and mixed media techniques, the composition suggests crumbling architecture, bustling energy, and emotional turbulence. The artist, Annette Perone Leiber, created this piece after experiencing a powerful moment of reflection while observing a city skyline. The layering of materials gives depth and motion, with earthy tones anchored by brilliant blues and warm reds.

This framed, signed original offers a compelling focal point for any contemporary space. The dynamic use of fabric and multimedia material creates a tactile, immersive visual experience.
